AND .. why do we say an alarm is going off when it's really going on?

...when we send a package by car, it's a shipment, but when we send it by ship, it's cargo?

.. and of course we drive on parkways, and park on driveways?

AND .. why is the really really slow traffic, during RUSH hour? Really?

Oh yeah .. buildings burn up when they burn down.

So what do you expect .. of a people .. who say "excuse me" when they belch, but laugh when they ...

well ..

you get the picture.

And why does "1" sound like it has a "w" in it, when it doesn't, but "2" has a "w" in it but doesn't sound like it?

And how cruel is it that there's an "s" in "lisp"?

Personally, I think there should be a shorter word for "abbreviation".

Oh well.

Why does a person hit a tv or a remote control from the side knwing that it is not going to work?

Why doens't people want iv knowing that it would help them to get better?

Why do people keep passing or crossing in the red light knowing that they can get a ticket?
