Home again...Home again

I've just concluded several weeks of ministry and several days of vacation in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine seeing some of the greatest foliage ever and am now getting ready to resume some efforts at putting thoughts on line. I need the rest of this weekend to get it together. Come next Monday I'll be ready to go. It's good to be home.

Glad you made it in, son. Guess I can go back to bed now.

Bob,

Why is it that every thing you say, serious, smiling, theological, practical, personal, or just a short comment, winds up being one of my favorite things anyone says in the comment section?

Paul: It's Pastor Appreciation Month and I appreciate you, and our friendship. You also get the bonus of my appreciation for how you raised Wade.

He's awfully young, though. It'd help if he was closer to my age. Couldn't you have had him where you were, say, 7 or 8?

You are a pastor, right?

Bob,

I pastored for forty years but, at the present, am traveling in a conference/revival ministry to local churches. Check my web-site at www.paulburleson.com and click on VTM ministry and it gives the kind of thing I do.

You said one time God does things in our kids "in spite of us as parents" and I couldn't agree more.

By the way, I'm not above drumming up meetings so have your Pastor check out the site if you think it the thing to do. Thanks for the comments of appreciation. That friendship is held on this end too.

Picky picky picky. In my book, you're still a pastor.

I'm still a deacon, myself. Just not active.

What I said stands (I already knew what you do now..).
